Part Sisyphus, part Pollyanna, she willingly, self-righteously and deliriously believes that she can be pure of body and mind, regardless of the fact that this is humanly impossible, and more importantly, impractical. This dream becomes her prison in that she cannot allow herself to relax, enjoy and learn from the realities of life. Who/what does she really need to be saved from?
