In a large, dark, enclosed
area, approx. 20-30 feet apart, two postcards
(the site of the crucifixion and the tomb of Christ, both within
the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem)
hang at eye level in two beams of light,
The sound is of the crowd recorded at each site.
The sound (crowd) travels from one "site" to the other,
leaving you to contemplate the icon alone or with the others.
